KS2 Art Club
Once again, KS2 children have the opportunity to join Art Club this term. We will be using a variety of mediums and children will develop and learn new skills, exploring their creative side. They will have the chance to produce unique pieces which will be on display in school and then can be taken home. Our theme this term will be under the sea and the children will have the opportunity to produce 2D and 3D artwork.
Art club will be in 3L’s classroom from 3.15pm – 4.15pm.
There is a small charge of £6 which will contribute towards the cost of materials. Places are limited to 16 and offered on a first come first serve basis. If the club is oversubscribed children will be placed on a waiting list.
Mrs Laban looks forward to meeting Rayne school’s budding artists!
SOME WONDERFUL EXAMPLES OF OUR UNDERWATER THEME FROM THE AUTUMN TERM:
PREVIOUS ART CLUB WORK
These children have created their own mixed media animal collages which will be on display in the library shortly.
The children also created some wonderful character pictures:
SPRING TERM 2018
The children were inspired by the works of Edvard Munch, creating their own “scream” portraits. They also created 3D portraits in the style of Pablo Picasso.
