PSA Events 2017-2018
This term we are raising funds for much needed audio visual equipment for the school hall, which will benefit all of our students, staff & parents alike.
Halloween Spooky Spoon Competition – £57.34 RAISED!!
For just £1 entry you will receive a plain wooden spoon to decorate in any Halloween theme you wish. Please return your decorated spoon to school no later than Friday 20th October am, as all entries will be judged that afternoon. There is a small prize for every entry.
Trick or Treat Cake Sale – £117.80 RAISED!!
Please bring your pennies for the Trick or Treat bake sale which takes place after school on the last day of term. Prices start from 50p.
Non-Uniform Day – £225 RAISED!
Come to school in your favourite outfit or most comfy clothes for just £1!
Christmas Fete – £2260 RAISED!
Our annual Christmas fundraiser takes place on Saturday 2nd December from 1pm-4pm. Highlights this year include Grand Prize Draw, Santa’s Grotto, Fairy & Elf Experience, delicious festive food & drinks, Christmas crafts and games and much, much more.

This term we are raising funds to develop the outside space at school. We hope to provide new play equipment and furniture to improve the playground.

Mother’s Day Tea – £280 RAISED!
The Mother’s Day Tea was a wonderful afternoon where our children treated their Mums, Nans, Grandmas and Aunties to tea/coffee and delicious cake. The children also choose gifts from our Mother’s Day Market and there was a raffle too. Huge thanks to Panners Cafe for donating a gift voucher for 1st prize and to everyone who donated prizes and made or donated cakes. There was such a lovely selection. A massive £280 was raised which will be put towards our Spring fundraising goal for outdoor play and educational equipment!
Rayne VIP’s – PartyMan Braintree – £245 RAISED!
Thank you to everyone who came to Partyman Braintree for Rayne Primary’s Exclusive VIP night. The children enjoyed 2 hours of exciting soft play and the grown ups enjoyed a coffee and a catch up too! A fantastic £245 was raised for the PSA pot!
It was such a brilliant event that we hope to book another one later in the year!
Smarties Chores Challenge – £1055 RAISED!
Every pupil at Rayne Primary and Nursery School was gifted with a tube of Smarties before the Easter break courtesy of Bookers Chelmsford. From Wednesday 28th March to Wednesday 18th April children were asked to carry out chores and tasks for their family and friends in return for 20ps to be saved in their empty Smarties tube. There is a competition prize for the class that raises the most money and also a raffle for which each child who completely fills their tube will be entered. We are currently busy counting up all of your generous donation. Winners to be announced next week.

Rayne School #Summerfest2018 – £2,250 RAISED!!
The Rayne School #summerfest 2018 was a great success with a wide variety of stalls, entertainment and fun! Highlights this year included the Braintree Lions train, Slime Creations stall, real life snake and chameleon encounters, a World Cup challenge, glitter hair & tattoos and live music performances from previous student Hollie Ratoff, Pharaoh & the Beats and Rayne School’s very own choir!
THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who came, bought raffle tickets, baked cakes, ran a stall. We couldn’t do it without your support!!
