Sports Day - Reception to Y6

In the Summer term we hold our annual Sport’s Day.  All children need to participate wearing a plain t-shirt in the colour of their house along with their PE shorts.  This supports with the scoring and enables you to identify your children easier.  Your child will be informed of their house and colour when they start school.  However, if you or your child needs to be reminded please speak to their teacher during the Summer term.

Logo uniform purchase

All uniform may be purchased online from Schoolwear Plus either in-store or online. Alternatively, you may visit their store located in The Bringy Centre, Church Street, Great Baddow, Chelmsford, Essex, CM2 7JW  (tel.: 01245 491170,  email:  sales@schoolwearplus.com). Ties are available via School Gateway (Years 1-6 only)

Labels

Please ensure you name all your child’s clothing, as all items of school clothing look the same; therefore this will help to prevent items getting lost! Children are encouraged to be responsible for their own belongings and this will really support them with this process.   If you would like to support the school’s fundraising, and help with finding your child’s lost clothes you can purchase Stikins name labels (‘you simply stick in and they stay in – no sewing and no ironing’) via their website www.stikins.co.uk and quote our fundraising number 16569.  These can be put on clothes, shoes, water bottles and lunchboxes.

Miscellaneous

Your child is also required to bring a fresh bottle of water in a named bottle each day and a book bag. This will be used to bring reading books to and from school and can be used for any work they wish to bring home and letters for you. NB Reading books cannot be issued without a bag.
