Rayne Primary and Nursery School

In line with our statutory duties and the Schools Admissions Code we have made a minor change  to our admissions arrangements for 2026-2027 which we must now consult on ahead of the changes being determined.

These changes are to admission criteria.

THE CONSULTATION PROCESS

This consultation will run from Thurday 10th October for six weeks.  We are inviting stakeholders and members of the local community to respond.  These are namely, but not limited to:

1. Parents and Carers at each school
2. Members of school Staff 
3. The Local Authority 
4. Local primary schools
5. Members of the local community

HOW TO RESPOND

You are invited to submit comments in a number of ways:

2. By completing Appendix 1, which can be found here, and
   • emailing to offfice@rayne.esssex.sch.uk (please use ‘Admissions CONSULTATION’ in the subject heading); OR

Following the consultation period the Local Governing Board and Trust Board will consider any comments received. 

Any comments must be sent no later than Thursday 21st November 2024.
